Gapaweyak Receives A New System PDF Print E-mail

The operators from Gapaweyak Community01The remote community of Gapaweyak, in the Northern Territory, has received their new garbage collection truck.

The unit is a 12 cubic metre Russ Maxipactor fitted to a Hino 1527 automatic. The community is now able to collect their rubbish from wheelie bins in the comfort of the air conditioned cab.

New Rubbish Compactor for Utopia PDF Print E-mail

A regular rubbish collection service for the Utopia homelands in Central Australia will soon be operating in the remote community following a grant of $150,000 from the Australian Government.

The Government has provided the funding to the Barkly Shire to purchase a rubbish compactor truck and deliver an awareness program on the introduction of wheelie bines for the homelands.

Russ 8 cubic meter Kerbside Collection Syste,Paroo Shire Council, based in Cunnamulla in far south west Queensland received their new Russ 8 cubic metre Kerbside collection system. The unit is used for all household waste collection services throughout Cunnamulla and some surrounding areas.
This is the second Russ Minipactor system delivered to the Shire.

20tonne Hyva Hookloader supplied by Russ EquipmentCoral Sea Concrete have chosen the 20 tonne Hyva Hookloader for their main waste transfer vehicle on Thursday Island.

The system, a 20-58-SK, has been fitted to an 8x4 UD Nissan truck and will provide the main working force for their inter-island transfer movements of waste bins, water tankers and concrete agitator .
